I am Yu Fang, a reseacher interested primary in Natural Language Processing and Maching Learning fields. My current work is about the interpretability of language models on NLP applictaions, and the human-centered intersection of cognitive science and computer science. I’m also interested in trustworthy language models and AI for social good.

I obtain my MS degree from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and I’m lucky to advised by Professor Dongyeop Kang.

What’s new

  • [Oct. 2022]: I started working with Dr. Haihua Xie at BIMSA on project: Grammatical Error Diagnosis & Correction for Chinese language with Transformer-based models.
  • [Jun. 2022]: I received my MS-CS degree from University of Minnesota, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. I would like to thank my advisor Prof. Dongyeop Kang and all the other co-workers at the Minnesota NLP Group for this great journey! =]
  • [Jun. 2021]: I started working with Prof. Dongyeop Kang in Minnesota NLP Group on our project: the interpretability of Contrastive Learning on language models and NLP tasks.
